Who doesn't love a good happy hour?

We rounded up the best local happy hour spots to unwind in Bellingham, all week long.

Best Craft Cocktail Happy Hour

Redlight | 3-7pm Daily

The mixologists at Redlight really know how to mix up the magic with unique flavor profiles and combinations using their own house infused spirits. Our pick would be the Blue Raja (Blueberry Mint-Julep) – blueberry-infused bourbon, house made mint syrup, orange Angostura bitters, soda water.

What sets Redlight’s Happy Hour apart? Most places we’ve found only offer a few basic cocktails on their happy hour menu, whereas Redlight offers $1 off of nearly all of their crafty concoctions! 3pm-7pm daily.

So many beers (over 50 on tap!) and so many hours to be happy with specials from 11am- 6pm every day! They also serve delicious pizza and other pub food staples like sandwiches and wings.

Best Wine Happy Hour

Artifacts | 4-6pm Wednesday to Saturday

The crew at Artifacts has created a really special space here next to Whatcom Museum, which makes it a perfect stop before taking in some new art exhibits. We can’t wait to visit on a sunny day to sip some vino on their beautiful patio.

Happy Hour is from 4pm-6pm Wednesday to Saturday, featuring $2 off of tap wines and $1 off of the small bites menu. Psst…the goat cheese with onion jam was delicious!

If natural wine is your thing, look no further than this adorable, minimalist wine bar in downtown Fairahaven. Gainsbarre only features wines that have no additives, and are organic, biodynamic, or sustainably produced.

Happy hour is from 3-6PM Thursday through Monday (the only days they are open). Look for discounts on select food and an asterisk* on select wines for a dollar off.

Best Family-Friendly Happy Hour

Aslan Brewing in Bellingham WA

Aslan | 2-5pm & 9-10pm Daily

Granted, Aslan makes our list for one of the best happy hours with, or without kids in tow, but for the sake of this collection we do feel like they offer the best family setting with something for everyone. Kids love to color, sip their house-made root beer, and munch on the delicious waffle fries. Grown-ups can enjoy $1 off 16oz or 20oz beers, or $2 off a pitcher. Our go-to food items are the pulled pork tacos which are generously filled for a mere $2.50 each and a fresh salad for $5.

Best Boozy Beverage

The Real Mccoy | 4-7pm Tuesday – Saturday

OK, The Real Mccoy’s boozy beverage isn’t part of their happy hour, but it’s definitely worth mentioning. If you’re in need of a sweet and boozy treat, be sure to order their bourbon milkshake made of créme de cacao, borghetti coffee liqueur, vanilla ice cream, and topped off with a generous helping of branca menta whipped cream. Won’t pony up for full price? They offer $5 gin and tonics (hint: homemade tonic) and medium sized burgers for $6 (for meat eaters and vegetarians).
